I have enjoyed the computer. Only a couple of issues that require rebooting, but what electronic devices have not? Hello? Life is not prefect and neither are computers. Have bought a couple more as gifts and they love it.

Comments:

I purchased the Node, because it had all I was looking for: heart rate, cadence, speed, time and was able to be interchanged between 2 bikes. I was already wary when it took several attempts by the mechanic to get the cadence sensor to pair up at the initial install. On the first ride, it wouldn't pair up with any of the sensors (heart, cadence, speed). So I rode without it. Back at the shop on the second bike, we couldn't get more than two sensors working at the same time. So, the shop gave me a new Node and all seemed well. Then, on the ride the cadence cut out or showed erroneous values while I was at a standstill. Replaced the sensors, but still same problems. Finally, I removed all of the parts from both bikes and asked for a full refund. Thankfully the shop gave a full refund. I am now back at square one with my computer needs. I still like Bontrager, but will never again put any of their electronics on any of my bikes.

Comments:

I am now on my 2nd computer. The first worked fine for the first 6 months, then after that it seemed to work whenever it felt like it. One day the heart rate monitor wouldn't pair, then on the next ride it would be the cadence meter. Some days my cadence would be all over the place, with no relevance to how I was biking. Battery changes didn't fix the problem. I stopped by the bike store where I purchased it and they felt it was a faulty computer. They replaced it, but I still feel that it's just not reliable. My son has the same one and he's dealing with the same issue from time to time. If it wasn't linked to my heart rate monitor, I'd replace it. Unfortunaley, the computer was knocked off my bike on the car ride home today, so now I will need to buy another one!

Put this product on my road bike. Very pleased with it. It starts up almost instantly when i hop on bike. Cadence, speed and distance are easily pulled up. Always working unlike the old computer I purchased from another company that always gives me problems. I recommend this product.

Odometer is very accurate. Cadence works perfectly. Easy to switch through modes and check on how your doing, then return back to where you were. Love the modular sensor for tracking cadence and mph. Never misses a beat.

      Comments:

I got this so I could monitor cadence. The display is very easy to read, but that's about all I can say that's good about this thing. It's about as accurate as map my ride, which isn't saying a lot. It's very temperamental and often quits one or more functions in the middle of a ride. It's frustrating to stop and align things PERFECTLY in order to get it working.

      Regrettably Unreliable

        Comments:

Wish I had read the prior reviews before buying. Only had it for a few days. After the first ride, one of the set buttons froze and is not workable. On paper, the fact that its wireless seemed like a great idea (particularly in concert with the sensor inset in the Trek fork). In reality, small buttons are difficult to work while riding and the fact that it "broke" on only the second ride is discouraging.

          Comments:

I use this for cadence mainly, but speed and distance are handy as well. Set up was easy, pairing was easy and connecting happens within a few seconds. Buttons are simple and display is easy to read. Much better than the wired computer I had used before. Has 9 functions, couldn't be simpler.

No help from Bontrager customer service!! They do not answer emails. Computer has issues when pairing next to another node(s)in the bike group. Readings varies from one ride to another as in distance.

I use, or try to use it, in my road bike, a madone 5.2 . I regret buying this device. It does not get started at least 20% of the time. The HR detector never worked even though I am using a Garmin ANT+ HR monitor. I agree with the other reviewer that this device should be recalled.
