2016 Electra Townie Original 7D EQ

You'll love gliding around town on Electra's Townie Original 7D. It boasts a Shimano 7-speed drivetrain and a slick twist shifter that make easy work of hills and headwinds. The laid-back aluminum frame, wide tires and plush saddle provide a comfy cruise that's made for care-free afternoons. Plus, you'll love Electra's Flat Foot Technology, which lets you put both feet flat on the ground whenever you want, while the linear-pull brakes deliver impressive stopping power. The EQ model features a Dynamo hub that powers front and rear lights while you ride, and a pair of full fenders help keep you protected from the elements.

Comments:

Lights work nice (EQ) once you get up to riding speed and generate steady power. Pedaling is a pleasure as your feet are slightly forward, unlike traditional bikes where your feet are right under the seat position. For a cruiser type bike, it is not too heavy, which makes pedaling easy, and 7 speeds is sufficient for bike paths. If you are 6' or taller, get the tall size.
