Easy to ride

    Comments:

The combination of light weight and tall, skinny wheels makes this bike much easier to ride at speed than a traditional mountain bike while still handling mild off road excursions well. Still makes my arms numb on a 10 mile ride if I don't ride one handed for a minute, but so does every low handlebar bike I've ridden. Seat is more comfortabe than it looks.

I have ridden this bike on a road course with professional road riders, and was able to keep up with the road bikes. I have ridden this bike on dirt trails with other riders on mountain bikes, and I was able to keep up. I love this bike for it's outstanding performance and it's fantastic versatilty. Best bike for the money, hands down...

      Comments:

I bought this bike after retiring, just to get a little different exercise besides walking. I am almost disabled due to lung and heart disease but I am able to ride this bike on the mostly level roads around my home. I take it out for about an hour or so at a time and am pleased with the feel of it and ease of use. It is probably overkill for me, but I am glad I have so many gears to choose from.

      Comments:

I use my Bodega to commute a few miles to work on nice days, riding mainly on the street and sidewalks. I also take it to paved and dirt trails where it preforms great on all of them. The stock bike takes a while to shift gears. The DS 88.2 will not keep up with a road bike but that's not what it's made for. I received a gift certificate for [...] from my in-laws and I used that towards the purchase of this bike, however I did my own research and chose this model on my own. I do not classify choosing this bike as a "gift".

I've had this bike for about a month now and I cant stay off of it, the multisport tires are roadbike fast, but still good enough for dirt or gravel trails. Anyone looking for a bike thats great on the road and good in the trails this is the bike for you!
